The Most Important Match in ICW History?
This past Sunday on Xplosion, a match was made by Mrs. Goldsmith. Perhaps the most important match in ICW history, King BW will lead a 4-man team against Oliver WISE's 4-man team with the winning team's manager becoming the Co-owner of ICW. Both King BW and Oliver WISE has chosen their first 2 draft picks to represent their respective teams. King BW chose himself and Elliot Ness to represent his team so far, as WISE chose Khatonic and The Pen Name. Will WISE finally dethrone BW and become the new co-owner of ICW?
Outshined on the Horizon?
It was a rematch for the ICW Continental Championship Contract when the match ended in a draw between Then Pen Name and Chris Castle. Just like the ICW Heavyweight Championship match at Final Result, all 4 shoulders were down. As a result, GM Oliver WISE made the announcement that it'll be a Triple Threat match for Johnny Light's title. Even though Castle got the last laugh by attacking TPN from behind shortly after the 3 way match was made, TPN's long time friend, Devin Bliss, came out to make the save. Does this mean that Outshined is back together? Or was this a one time thing? Tune in Sunday to find out!
Elliot Ness Has Sold His Soul to King BW
Elliot Ness will never forget this year's edition of Final Result. Why? Because he officially sold his soul to the devil himself, King BW. How could this have happened? A couple weeks ago on Xplosion, Elliot Ness demanded a rematch after coming off a fresh loss to Devin Bliss at Deadly Fire 666. King BW initially rejected Ness's challenge, but then granted him the match, with the stipulation being a last man standing match where if Elliot loses, he would sell his soul to the owner. After a grueling last man standing match that saw Devin Bliss zip-tying Ness's arms and legs to the ropes, preventing Ness from answering the long 10-count, King BW came out to tell Ness that he's his "b****" now. What will happen now that Ness will have to do whatever the owner tells him to do?
TPN Gets His Revenge & a Shot at the Strap
After weeks of being attacked by Chris Castle, The Pen Name finally got his revenge on his brother in-law by defeating him in a ladder match for a shot to face the Continental Champion in the future. For The Pen Name, this means that he gets a shot at the championship he had never lost. In his mind, the Continental Championship belongs to him. Many fans and wrestlers are saying this match between TPN and Castle is a Match of the Year candidate. With Castle in his rear-view mirror, TPN can finally focus on regaining the belt he had to relinquish 2 months ago.
A New Champion is Crowned
In the record books, Final Result marks the day that Johnny Light defeated Homicide to capture his first ICW Continental Championship. Prior to the match, Homicide had his ribs taped up from the injury his sustained from King BW a couple weeks back at Xplosion. Johnny Light took full advantage of Homicide's injury and made him tap out to a modified version of a sharpshooter, causing direct impact on Homicide's ribs.
Shawn Jovi Signs with ICW
On last week's edition of ICW Xplosion, we witnessed the redebute of Shawn Jovi. Jovi, former co-owner of Indiana Championship Wrestling, made his return after 8 years. The Wisconsin native crashed Chris Castle's showcase to announce he was the newest competitor in ICW. Chris Castle was quick to issue Jovi a challenge for the following week's Xplosion. If Castle loses, he'll quit ICW. Be sure to tune in this Sunday at 6pm to find out the outcome to this epic encounter!
